The Bills entered Sunday at 5-1, chasing a fast start that could carry them toward their Super Bowl dream. The Ravens arrived at 4-3 needing to halt a two-game slide. By the fourth quarter at Highmark Stadium, Buffalo had turned that big AFC meeting into a blue-and-red celebration. Josh Allen ran for a touchdown and threw for two more as the Bills rolled past Baltimore 36-10.
Buffalo attacked right away after Baltimore’s opening kickoff sailed out of bounds and gave the Bills great field position. Allen zipped passes to Dalton Kincaid and Khalil Shakir, moving the offense to the 1-yard line. A replay changed Shakir’s apparent touchdown into a stop at the goal line, but Allen powered in on the next play for a 7-0 lead. Tyler Bass then drilled a 56-yard field goal, making it 10-0.
Baltimore answered when a Ravens defensive lineman intercepted Allen at the Buffalo 17. Derrick Henry smashed through the right side for 12 yards, then scored from 2 yards out to pull the Ravens within 10-7. It was the kind of powerful response Baltimore needed after its recent struggles.
But Buffalo’s defense delivered the next huge twist. A Bills safety knocked the ball loose from Tyler Huntley, and a linebacker recovered it at the Baltimore 20. The Bills could not reach the end zone, yet Bass made a short field goal for a 13-7 lead. Baltimore later reached Buffalo’s 7, but its 34-yard field-goal try hit the left upright. That miss left the door open.
Allen and the Bills marched through it. James Cook III broke free for a 16-yard run, while DJ Moore and Ty Johnson made key catches. Moore then lost a fumble just before halftime, but Buffalo’s defense quickly grabbed another gift when a Bills cornerback intercepted Joe Fagnano. Allen raced 14 yards to set up Bass’ 51-yard kick, and Buffalo took a 16-7 lead into the break.
The Ravens opened the second half with their best drive. Fagnano found Rashod Bateman for 22 yards, and Henry appeared to score before a holding penalty wiped it away. Baltimore settled for a 26-yard field goal, cutting the score to 16-10.
That was as close as it got. Allen launched a 49-yard strike to Moore, and Cook finished the drive with a 5-yard touchdown run. Buffalo led 23-10. In the fourth, Kincaid’s 40-yard catch set up Moore’s 11-yard touchdown. Later, Kincaid caught a 23-yard scoring pass to finish the job.
Allen threw for 289 yards, while Kincaid turned four catches into 86 yards and a touchdown. Cook’s 80 rushing yards helped Buffalo hold the ball for 37:36 and keep Henry from taking over. Buffalo improved to 6-1 and heads next to Minnesota with its season story growing stronger. Baltimore fell to 4-4 and will look to regroup against Jacksonville after Buffalo’s defense held the Ravens to 144 total yards.
