The Baltimore Ravens raced to a 13-point lead at home, but Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals wrote the bigger second-half chapter. Burrow threw four touchdown passes, Tee Higgins made big catch after big catch, and Cincinnati stormed past Baltimore 35-13 on Sunday. The Bengals arrived at 3-2 after Burrow’s four-touchdown game in Miami, hoping to prove their passing attack could shine against an AFC North rival. Instead, they left Baltimore at 4-2 with an even louder message.

Baltimore, which entered 4-2 and wanted to shake off its loss to Cleveland, struck quickly. Tyler Huntley found Zay Flowers on a short pass, and Flowers burst free for a 48-yard touchdown. Flowers was the Ravens’ spark all day, catching eight passes for 137 yards. Baltimore’s defense then forced Cincinnati to punt on each of its first two drives, while kicker Tyler Loop added field goals from 34 and 24 yards for a 13-0 halftime lead.

The score hid one key problem for Baltimore: Derrick Henry could not get rolling. Cincinnati held the powerful runner to 45 yards on 17 carries, making the Ravens work through the air on drive after drive. Huntley moved the ball well and finished with 298 passing yards, but Baltimore reached the red zone—inside the opponent’s 20-yard line—three times without a touchdown.

Burrow changed the game right after halftime. He calmly guided Cincinnati 66 yards, mixing throws to Ja’Marr Chase, Higgins and tight end Erick All before finding Mike Gesicki for a 6-yard touchdown. The Bengals trailed only 13-7, and their defense answered with a quick three-and-out, meaning it stopped Baltimore without allowing a first down.

Then Higgins took over. He hauled in a 19-yard catch, later grabbed a 10-yard pass, and finished the next drive with a 13-yard touchdown catch to put Cincinnati ahead 14-13 late in the third quarter. Higgins finished with six catches for 148 yards, using his size and strong hands to keep drives alive.

Early in the fourth, Burrow hit Higgins deep for 44 yards. Samaje Perine soon scored from 1 yard out, stretching the lead to 21-13. Baltimore needed an answer, but a Bengals linebacker intercepted a pass meant for Flowers. That mistake gave Burrow another short field, and he quickly turned it into a 2-yard touchdown pass to Chase.

Burrow was not finished. After a long Higgins catch set up the offense near the goal line, Chase’s touchdown made it 28-13. The Bengals later added a 16-yard touchdown pass to Drew Sample, completing a 35-point surge. Burrow finished 30 of 30? No—he completed enough key throws for 292 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.

Cincinnati’s 5-for-5 success in the red zone showed its sharp finishing, while Baltimore’s missed chances changed the day. The Bengals now head toward a game with the Tennessee Titans carrying real momentum. The Ravens, now 4-3, face the Buffalo Bills needing to turn strong stretches into touchdowns when the pressure rises.
