With three seconds left, the Browns had one last chance to turn a tie into a road win. Kicker Szmyt delivered a 32-yard field goal, lifting Cleveland past Tennessee 27–24 at Nissan Stadium. The Browns arrived 4–2 hoping their tough defense and patient offense could keep building a playoff push. The Titans, fresh off their first win, were trying to prove last week’s comeback was the start of something bigger.

Tony Pollard gave Tennessee a blazing start. He powered through Cleveland’s defense for a 36-yard touchdown on the opening drive, then scored again from 10 yards out after cornerback Flott intercepted Browns quarterback Watson. Just over six minutes into the game, the Titans led 14–0, and Pollard had made a loud statement about Tennessee’s ground game.

Cleveland did not panic. Quinshon Judkins broke free for a 30-yard run and finished that drive with a 5-yard touchdown. The Browns then began leaning on receiver Concepcion, who found open space again and again. He helped set up Judkins’ 6-yard touchdown in the second quarter, tying the score 14–14. The Titans had a chance at the goal line before that drive, but Pollard was stopped short on fourth down. That empty trip mattered, because Cleveland took over and found its rhythm.

Late in the half, Watson guided the Browns downfield with sharp throws to Concepcion and tight end Harold Fannin Jr. Szmyt’s 28-yard field goal at the horn put Cleveland ahead 17–14.

Tennessee’s defense created another opening in the third quarter when linebacker Hill forced a fumble by Fannin, but Cam Ward’s next deep pass was intercepted by cornerback Ward. Later, Tate caught a 13-yard pass but lost the ball, giving Cleveland another chance. The Browns could not turn either extra possession into points, yet they kept the Titans from finding an easy answer.

After Szmyt missed a 43-yard field goal off the right upright early in the fourth, Pollard charged for 17 yards and helped Tennessee march into scoring range. Kicker Slye tied it 17–17 with a 29-yard field goal. Cleveland answered with its strongest drive: Fannin caught two key passes, Concepcion raced 18 yards on an end-around run, and Watson scored himself from 9 yards out for a 24–17 lead with 4:34 left.

Ward refused to let Tennessee fade. He hit Elic Ayomanor for 26 yards, then found Tate at the 1-yard line. Pollard blasted in for his third touchdown with 58 seconds left, tying the game 24–24. Pollard finished with 129 rushing yards, carrying Tennessee’s attack.

But Watson’s final march belonged to Fannin. His 36-yard catch put Cleveland at the Tennessee 19, setting up Szmyt’s winner. Cleveland improved to 5–2 and next faces Pittsburgh, while Tennessee fell to 1–6 before meeting Cincinnati. The Titans showed fight again, but the Browns showed why finishing every drive matters.
