Shohei Ohtani's home run sparked LA late, but Baltimore's pitching held strong. When the dust settled, the Orioles pulled off the upset 3-2. The ball soared 413 feet into the air and cleared the wall. One run was in. The score was now 3-1, Orioles still ahead. LA wasn't finished fighting. Tommy Edman came up next with Betts on third. An error by Taveras in right field allowed Freddie Freeman to score easily. Edman was safe at first. Betts stayed safe on third. The Dodgers had cut it to 3-2. But that's where it ended. Yennier Cano took over and closed it out. Baltimore won 3-2. The Orioles improved to 36-42 with this road victory. The Dodgers fell to 49-29.
