Lakers Start Fast
The Lakers looked sharp early on Sunday night. Luka Doncic and LeBron James led LA to a 33-27 lead after the first quarter. The ball zipped around as the Lakers found good shots. By halftime, they held a 56-52 advantage. Everything seemed to be working for the visitors.
Second-Half Surge
Then the Knicks flipped the script. New York's defense clamped down like a steel trap. They forced tough shots and grabbed rebounds. The third quarter belonged entirely to the home team. The Knicks outscored LA 38-26 in that frame alone. Suddenly New York led 90-82 heading into the final period.
Anunoby Takes Over

Landry Shamet added 23 points off the bench. Josh Hart poured in 20 points while shooting an amazing 73 percent. Jalen Brunson ran the offense like a maestro with 13 assists. Karl-Anthony Towns controlled the glass with 13 rebounds to go with his 11 points.
Doncic's Big Night Not Enough
Luka Doncic battled hard for the Lakers. He recorded a massive triple-double with 30 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists. LeBron James added 22 points on efficient 60 percent shooting. But their efforts couldn't stop the Knicks' second-half dominance.
