Kings Keep Rolling With Dominant Win
The Sacramento Kings made it three straight victories on Wednesday night, crushing the visiting New York Knicks 112-101. Sacramento controlled this game from the opening tip, never letting the Knicks find their rhythm.
Fast Start Sets the Tone
The Kings came out on fire in the first quarter. They raced to a 32-17 lead before the Knicks could blink. DeMar DeRozan sliced through defenders with his smooth moves. Zach LaVine attacked the rim with speed and power. By halftime, Sacramento had stretched the lead to 56-42.
Dynamic Duo Takes Over
DeRozan led the way with 27 points and 5 assists. He danced around defenders, pulling up for mid-range jumpers that swished through the net. LaVine was even more efficient, dropping 25 points on scorching hot shooting. He finished at the rim like a rocket blasting off, converting over half his shots.
Russell Westbrook ran the offense like a general commanding his troops. He dished out 11 assists while adding 19 points of his own. His quick passes created open looks all night long.
Precious Achiuwa dominated the glass with 14 rebounds to go with 20 points. He crashed the boards with fierce determination, giving Sacramento extra chances.
Knicks Struggle on the Road
New York couldn't find answers without star guard Jalen Brunson, who missed the game with an ankle injury. Mikal Bridges led the Knicks with 19 points, but he struggled with his shot. Karl-Anthony Towns added 13 points but never found his groove after strong recent performances.
The Knicks fell to 8-11 on the road this season. Playing away from home continues to challenge this team.
Looking Ahead
Sacramento improved to 11-30 but showed real fight with their third straight win. The Kings are building something special even without injured center Domantas Sabonis.
New York drops to 25-15 and faces Golden State next.
