Sunday Late Game Previews - NFL Week 3
The afternoon and night games in Week 3 feature some of the league’s biggest names and rivalries. With several playoff hopefuls and star quarterbacks in action, these matchups could have an early impact on the standings.
Broncos at Chargers – SoFi Stadium (4:05 PM)
The Broncos (1-1) are looking to bounce back after a heartbreaking one-point loss to the Colts. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix has shown poise, and J.K. Dobbins gives the offense balance, but the defense must close games better. The Chargers (2-0) are flying under Jim Harbaugh, with Justin Herbert playing efficient football and the defense forcing turnovers. This AFC West showdown will test if Denver can keep up with one of the division’s hottest teams.
Saints at Seahawks – Lumen Field (4:05 PM)
New Orleans (0-2) is still searching for its first win under young quarterback Spencer Rattler, who has flashed potential but struggled with mistakes. Alvin Kamara remains the steady force on offense, but the Saints need more consistency. Seattle (1-1) just beat the Steelers behind Kenneth Walker III’s strong rushing performance and Sam Darnold’s steady play. The Seahawks want to prove their new run-first identity can carry them through the NFC schedule.
Cowboys at Bears – Soldier Field (4:25 PM)
Dallas (1-1) squeaked by the Giants in overtime but showed weaknesses on defense. Dak Prescott has been steady, and CeeDee Lamb continues to shine, but the Cowboys need more balance if they want to stay in the NFC East race. Chicago (0-2) was blown out by the Lions last week, though rookie receiver Rome Odunze provided a bright spot. Caleb Williams and the Bears will look to improve at home against a talented but inconsistent Dallas team.
Cardinals at 49ers – Levi’s Stadium (4:25 PM)
Arizona (2-0) is building momentum with Kyler Murray playing sharp and rookie Marvin Harrison Jr. already making a big impact. The Cardinals are young and exciting but face a huge test against San Francisco (2-0). Christian McCaffrey is healthy and leading the 49ers’ offense, while the defense remains one of the toughest in football. This NFC West clash will show how close Arizona is to competing with the division’s best.
Chiefs at Giants – MetLife Stadium (8:20 PM)
Kansas City (0-2) is in unfamiliar territory, still looking for its first win of the year. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce continue to produce, but the offensive line and wide receiver depth are major concerns. New York (0-2) has struggled even with Russell Wilson throwing for big yardage, as the defense has been leaky in key moments. Both teams are desperate for a win, but the Chiefs especially need to avoid an 0-3 start in a tough AFC.
Tomorrow's games are guaranteed to be exciting so make sure to tune in!
