Week 12 NFL Power Rankings: Teams 32-17
Week 12 brought huge plays, tough injuries, and some surprising upsets. A few teams stayed hot while others slipped again. At this point in the year everyone is fighting to stay alive in the playoff race. Here’s where all 32–17 teams stand after another wild weekend.
32. Tennessee Titans (1–9) The Titans lost 16–13 to Houston in a close battle. Rookie quarterback Cameron Ward showed progress with a late scoring drive, but the defense couldn’t finish the job. Tennessee keeps competing as the young offense is still learning how to close games.
31. New York Giants (2–9) New York fell 27–20 to the Packers after Jameis Winston replaced Jaxson Dart as their third starting QB this season. Winston hit big passes, and Devin Singletary scored twice, but a late interception sealed the loss. The Giants are still searching for stability.
30. New Orleans Saints (2–8) The Saints recently switched to Tyler Shough at quarterback, but the offense continued to struggle. Drives stalled, explosive plays were rare, and another loss followed. With the season slipping away, New Orleans is trying to find any spark on offense.
29. Las Vegas Raiders (2–8) The Raiders dropped their fourth straight game in a 33–16 loss to Dallas. Geno Smith hit Brock Bowers for several big gains, but the offense couldn’t finish drives, settling for field goals until late. Ashton Jeanty struggled to find running room, and the defense had no answers for Dak Prescott’s four-touchdown night.
28. New York Jets (2–8) The Jets lost 27–14 to the Patriots despite an early Justin Fields touchdown. After another tough outing, Fields was benched, and the team will now turn to Tyrod Taylor. The defense keeps battling, but the offense can’t stay consistent.
27. Cleveland Browns (2–8) Cleveland lost 23–16 to Baltimore, even though the defense scored on a pick-six. Turnovers by the offense, including two interceptions, cost them the game. The Browns used both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders as they keep evaluating young players.
26. Washington Commanders (3–8) Washington fell 16–13 to the Dolphins in overtime. Marcus Mariota played steady football, and the defense held strong for most of the game, but losing Jayden Daniels for the season casts a shadow over everything.
25. Arizona Cardinals (3–7) The Cardinals lost 41–22 to the 49ers. Jacoby Brissett moved the ball well with Trey McBride, Greg Dortch, and Michael Wilson, but the defense couldn’t slow down Christian McCaffrey. With Kyler Murray on IR, Arizona is leaning heavily on its young weapons.
24. Atlanta Falcons (3–7) The Falcons lost 30–27 in overtime to Carolina and suffered a huge blow with Michael Penix Jr.’s likely season-ending ACL injury. Atlanta built an early lead behind Drake London and Bijan Robinson but couldn’t hang on late.
23. Miami Dolphins (4–7) Miami beat Washington 16–13 in overtime thanks to De’Von Achane’s big day and a key defensive interception. Tua Tagovailoa managed the game well, and the Dolphins have now won two straight.
22. Cincinnati Bengals (3–7) The Bengals were overwhelmed 34–12 by Pittsburgh. Joe Flacco threw a touchdown early, and Chase Brown ran for 99 yards, but turnovers, including a pick-six, buried them. The team is hoping Joe Burrow returns soon as he rehabs his turf toe.
21. Minnesota Vikings (4–6) Minnesota lost a tight 19–17 game to Chicago. J.J. McCarthy threw two early interceptions but later led a strong comeback capped by a touchdown to Jordan Addison. However, a late Bears field goal sealed the loss.
20. Dallas Cowboys (4–5–1) The Cowboys finally broke out of their slump with a 33–16 win over the Raiders. Dak Prescott was sharp all night, throwing four touchdowns to four different targets, including big plays to CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. Dallas looked far more balanced than before the bye and finally put together a complete performance.
19. Houston Texans (5–5) Houston beat Tennessee 16–13 with Davis Mills filling in for C.J. Stroud after he had a concussion. Mills connected with Nico Collins all game long, and the Texans hit a walk-off field goal to get back to .500.
18. Carolina Panthers (6–5) The Panthers stunned Atlanta 30–27 in overtime behind Bryce Young’s career-high 448 passing yards. Tetairoa McMillan and Xavier Legette dominated, and Carolina’s offense looked explosive from start to finish.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars (6–4) Jacksonville crushed the Chargers 35–6 behind a dominant rushing attack from Bhayshul Tuten and Travis Etienne Jr. Trevor Lawrence added two scores, and the defense shut down Justin Herbert in a statement win.
Week 12 shook things up, and the pressure only gets higher from here. With key injuries, rising stars, and big matchups ahead, these teams will keep battling to climb the rankings as the season moves into its final stretch.
