Week 13 NFL Power Rankings: 32-17
The bottom half of the league is full of drama, young quarterbacks, and teams trying to prove they still belong in the playoff race. Some, like the Titans and Giants, are clearly in rebuilding mode. Others, like the Texans and Cowboys, are starting to heat up at just the right time. Let's dive in and see how things stack up this week!
32. Tennessee Titans (1–10)
The Titans stay at the bottom of the rankings after another tough loss. Rookie quarterback Cam Ward showed promise by throwing for 256 yards, but the Titans still struggled to make big plays when it mattered. Their defense continues to give up long drives, and they haven’t been able to finish games strong. Even with young talent, Tennessee is still searching for answers.
31. New York Giants (2–10)
The Giants fought hard against the Lions, but their defense couldn’t stop Detroit’s run game, especially in the fourth quarter. Wan’Dale Robinson had a huge day with 156 yards, showing he’s a bright spot for the future. But New York gives up too many big plays and can’t keep up in close games, keeping them near the bottom and officially eliminated from the playoffs.
30. Las Vegas Raiders (2–9)
The Raiders had a rough outing against the Browns, struggling to protect Geno Smith and giving up 10 sacks. Their offense never found a rhythm, and the defense allowed too many long drives. Rookie Ashton Jeanty showed flashes, but the Raiders’ problems at quarterback and the offensive line keep holding them back.
29. New Orleans Saints (2–9)
The Saints continue to slide after a tough loss to the Falcons. Rookie QB Tyler Shough had some good throws, however turnovers and missed chances hurt them badly. Their defense kept things close early, but they gave up too many explosive plays late in the game. New Orleans is still rebuilding and relying on young players to learn quickly.
28. New York Jets (2–9)
The Jets showed early promise with Tyrod Taylor at quarterback, but mistakes and a huge fumble near the goal line cost them in a loss to the Ravens. Their offense continues to struggle to score touchdowns even after changing their quarterback. Breece Hall continues to shine, but he can’t do everything by himself.
27. Cleveland Browns (3–8)
Cleveland rises slightly after rookie QB Shedeur Sanders led them to a strong win over the Raiders. The Browns finally showed balance on offense, and their defense dominated with 10 sacks. Sanders, Judkins, and Sampson looked like an exciting young trio. They’re still far from playoff level, but the future looks bright.
26. Arizona Cardinals (3–8)
The Cardinals played one of their best games of the season but still fell short in overtime against Jacksonville. Jacoby Brissett threw for over 300 yards, and Michael Wilson and Trey McBride had big nights. Arizona fights hard every week, but they make too many mistakes late in games to climb higher.
25. Cincinnati Bengals (3–8)
Even without Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, the Bengals gave the Patriots a real challenge. Their defense made some big plays, including a pick-six, and Evan McPherson hit two long field goals. But they couldn’t finish the job late. Cincinnati hopes things turn around once their stars return.
24. Washington Commanders (3–8)
Washington had a bye this last week. This season hasn't gone according to plan, but they recently got some good news! Franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels could return from injury and give them a boost that they desperately need.
23. Atlanta Falcons (4–7)
Atlanta jumps a bit after a strong win over the Saints. Kirk Cousins played well, Bijan Robinson looked explosive, and the defense made key stops late. The Falcons still make some frustrating mistakes, but they showed they can hit big plays when they need them. They’re not out of the playoff picture yet.
22. Miami Dolphins (4–7)
Miami was on a bye this past week but are currently on a 2 game winning streak. After a rocky start to the season, the Dolphins offense is starting to put it together. They hop to continue their winning streak this week.
21. Minnesota Vikings (4–7)
The Vikings drop after a tough loss to the Packers where they scored only six points. Their offense struggled badly, and rookie QB J.J. McCarthy was pressured all game. Justin Jefferson was held in check, and their run game never got going. Minnesota has potential, but they look stuck in a slump.
20. Carolina Panthers (6–6)
The Panthers are the only .500 team and they still feel unpredictable. Some weeks they look sharp; other weeks they fall flat. They stay at No. 20 because while they’ve earned solid wins, they haven’t proven they can beat playoff-level teams consistently especially after their loss to the 49ers on Monday night. Still, they’re in the NFC Wild Card hunt.
19. Pittsburgh Steelers (6–5)
Pittsburgh drops after a close loss to the Bears. Their run game was strong, and the comeback attempt was impressive, but they dug too deep of a hole early. The defense also gave up several long drives. The Steelers are still fighting for a playoff spot, but they need Aaron Rodgers back to make a run.
18. Houston Texans (6–5)
The Texans rise after a huge win over the Bills. Their defense stepped up with big turnovers, and rookie Woody Marks powered the run game. Davis Mills played smart football, and the team showed toughness in the fourth quarter. Houston looks like a dangerous team that’s improving at the perfect time.
17. Dallas Cowboys (5–5–1)
Dallas gets a major boost after upsetting the 8–2 Eagles. Dak Prescott looked like a superstar with over 350 passing yards, and George Pickens had a monster game. The Cowboys’ defense made key plays, and the offense finally clicked. At 5-5-1, they’re climbing fast and could make a real playoff push if they stay hot.
The top of this group is still chasing the playoffs, while the bottom is fighting for pride, jobs, and a better future. A few big wins could send a team flying up the rankings, while another bad loss could drop them even lower. No matter where they are right now, every team on this list still has a chance to change their story before the season ends.
